Astral Limited is the name for the companies listed on Stock Exchanges in the country. The company was founded by Sandeep Engineer and the company was known as Astral Poly Technik Private Limited at the time of incorporation, but the name of the company was changed in the same year itself in the month of September 1996 and the company was known as Astral Poly Technik Limited.

The current name of the company is Astral Limited/ The Chairman and Managing Director of the company is Sandeep Engineer. While the company has Girish B Joshi and Jagruti S Engineer as Whole Time Directors of the company.

Astral PVC Supplier

Since 1999, the company has been a manufacturer and supplier of CPVC piping and plumbing systems in India. The company is the first Noveon USA (previously known as B.F Goodrich USA’s Specialty Chemical Division) licensee in India to manufacture and market CPVC piping and plumbing systems.

To boost its commercial goals, the company formed a techno-financial joint venture with Specialty Process LLC of the United States, which supplied the company with the necessary technical knowledge for manufacturing CPVC pipes and fittings for residential and industrial use.

Through the acquisition of Resinova Chemie Limited and Seal IT Services, Astral has effectively moved from producing pipes and fittings to joining the adhesives market. Rex Polyextrusion Private Limited (REPL) was acquired by the company a few years ago, bolstering its product portfolio.

The Company can now offer newer infrastructure items with a wider range of applications thanks to its increased product suite. The company has a subsidiary company in name Asreal Adhesives, which provides Adhesive solutions for the home.

Astral Pipes has state-of-the-art manufacturing facilities around the country, allowing it to address the needs of various regions and customers. Backward integration capabilities for CPVC compounding (45000 MT pa) allow the company to become a true Indian manufacturer.

Material handling and feeding systems are automated in the company’s six manufacturing facilities across the country.

Astral Polytechnik’s production process and control are based on a SCADA system, and the company has an in-house quality control department. The company has its manufacturing units for pipes in India in different states across the country and the locations include –

The company in the past few years has been earning good revenue and profits over the years. The revenue of the company has increased from 2019 to 2020 by Rs. 127 crores which are about 6.63% more as compared to 2019 and in the year 2021.

It saw an increase in its revenue as compared to 2020 by Rs. 444 Crores which is 21.74% but in the terms of percentage increase of revenue of the company, it is more in 2021 as compared to 2020. As far as the net profits of the company are concerned, the net profits have increased in 2020 from 2019 by Rs. 59 crores which are 41.84% more than in 2019, and in 2021 the net profits have increased by Rs. 126 crores which are 63.00% more than 2020.
